On a desktop, to remove the 'Open to Work' frame from your profile picture, do the following:

Go to LinkedIn.com and click on “Me” in the top right corner of the home page.
Choose “View Profile” from the drop-down menu.
Alternatively, you can go to your profile by clicking on your profile image in the top-left corner of the screen.
A pop-up window will appear when you click on your profile photo.
From the bottom menu, select “Frames.”
